Low Compression Set Black Technology: Fluorosilicone Rubber Solves Sealing Problems in Petrochemical and Military Fields

 In the extreme environments of petrochemical acid-base storage tanks and military equipment, the "long-term stability" of seals has always been an industry pain point. Low compression set fluorosilicone rubber (IOTA-FSR series) provides long-lasting sealing protection for high-demand scenarios with a compression set rate of ≤10%.  

Traditional sealing materials are prone to hardening and deformation under long-term pressure and chemical erosion, while this fluorosilicone rubber achieves performance breakthroughs through precise proportioning of fillers and additives. Its unique molecular structure not only retains the chemical resistance of fluorine materials but also inherits the elastic recovery of silicon materials. It can still maintain excellent rebound in the high-temperature test at 177℃ with 25% compression, ensuring long-term leakage-free operation of oil tanks, valves, and other equipment.  

To meet the needs of different scenarios, the product offers four hardness options from 40A to 70A: the 40S model adapts to flexible sealing with a 380% elongation at break, while the 70S model is competent for load-bearing sealing with high rigidity. The unified tensile strength of ≥9MPa and tear strength of ≥20KN/m enable different models to cope with mechanical impacts during high-frequency use.  

In the petrochemical industry, it provides anti-corrosion protection for acid and alkali-resistant pump valve seals, extending the equipment maintenance cycle; in the military field, it is suitable for special sealing strips in low-temperature, oil-resistant, and acid-resistant environments, reducing the risk of failures under extreme working conditions. In terms of processing, it is compatible with 0.6%-1% special vulcanizing agents, and enterprises can flexibly adjust vulcanization parameters according to product size without major transformation of production lines. During storage, keep it in a cool and dry environment, and its performance remains stable within the 12-month shelf life.
