In today's era of increasing demand for fire safety, a new material specially developed for high-strength fireproof cloth has quietly gained popularity. With its excellent performance, it has brought new breakthroughs to the field of fire protection and become the "core skeleton" of many protective products.
Hardcore Performance: Precise Control from Raw Materials to Molding
This addition-cured silicone rubber is divided into two components, A and B, both presenting a pure white appearance. The viscosity of component A is 100,000 mPa·s, and that of component B is 80,000 mPa·s. When mixed in a 1:1 weight ratio, the viscosity stabilizes at 85,500 mPa·s, balancing fluidity and moldability. Its unique thixotropic property makes construction more convenient – it is not easy to flow during scraping and dipping, greatly improving production efficiency.
What's more noteworthy is its super strong adhesion to glass fiber cloth. After construction, it can closely adhere to the substrate, avoiding falling off and cracking. This characteristic allows the fireproof cloth to maintain structural stability during long-term use, reducing potential safety hazards from the source.
Safety Upgrade: Comprehensive Performance "Online" After Curing
After curing and molding, this material still maintains a white appearance with a hardness of 50 Shore A, which has sufficient support while not losing flexibility. The tensile strength of 5.5 MPa and elongation at break of 250% enable it to withstand external pulling without being easily damaged; the tear strength of 16 KN/m further adds a durability buff to the product, making it not easy to crack even in case of collision and friction.
As a special adhesive for fireproof cloth, its flame retardant performance can be called a "safety guard". It can stably play a protective role in high-temperature environments, building a solid barrier for fire safety, especially suitable for scenarios with high fire protection level requirements.
Flexible Storage: Guaranteed for Long-Term Use
In terms of storage, this material is quite "worry-free". It can be stored for 12 months in an unopened bucket at a temperature below 23°C, and the outer packaging label clearly marks the best use date. Even if it exceeds the shelf life, there is no need to discard it directly. It can still be used after passing performance tests to confirm that the indicators are qualified, greatly reducing material waste.
At present, this material has been widely used in the production of fireproof cloth and the processing of various scraping and dipping products, proving with strength that "for safety protection, materials come first".
