High-Efficiency Molding Silicone Material Boosts Quality Improvement of Protective Products

The production efficiency and finished product performance of protective products often depend on the quality of core materials. A new type of silicone material developed specifically for high-strength fire-resistant cloth, with excellent thixotropy and stable performance, has become a powerful assistant in improving the production efficiency and quality of protective products.  

Thixotropy is the "unique advantage" of this material. Simply put, during construction, the material can flow and spread smoothly with tools, evenly covering the surface of the substrate; after the operation stops, it can quickly set and will not flow along the gaps of the substrate. This "flexible control" characteristic makes processes such as scraping and dipping easier to operate, not only reducing material loss but also ensuring a more uniform coating thickness, thus improving product qualification rates from the source.  

The performance after curing is equally impressive. The white protective layer combines toughness and strength, with a hardness of Shore A 50—neither too hard to be brittle nor too soft to deform easily. It can achieve an elongation rate of 250% when stretched, and can buffer pressure through deformation when encountering external impacts. Coupled with a tensile strength of 5.5MPa and a tear resistance of 16KN/m, it ensures that protective products maintain stable performance during long-term use.  

For production enterprises, the ease of use of materials directly affects cost control. This material adopts an A/B two-component design, with a 1:1 weight mixing ratio that requires no complex calculations. Ordinary workers can operate it proficiently after simple training. The viscosity of the mixed material is stably maintained at 85,500 mPa·s, which can adapt to different coating equipment, ensuring the continuity of the production process and effectively increasing output per unit time.  

In terms of application scenarios, in addition to being a special adhesive for fire-resistant cloth, its excellent adhesion and protective performance make it suitable for coating treatment of various substrates. Whether it is special fabrics requiring fire resistance and flame retardancy, or industrial protective products demanding wear and damage resistance, all can achieve quality upgrading with the support of this material.  

In terms of storage, the material can be stored unopened for 12 months at temperatures below 23℃. A clear expiration date is marked on the outer packaging, facilitating enterprises in inventory management. Even if it exceeds the shelf life, it can still be used after passing performance testing, reducing unnecessary material waste for enterprises.
