Coatings designed for metal do not adhere well to glass, and coatings for glass are not suitable for plastic—do you have to repeatedly select coatings every time you need to coat objects of different materials? The IOTA 9108 organopolysilazane coating breaks this limitation. It is perfectly compatible with metals, alloys, glass and plastics (PP, PC, PVC, PMMA, etc.), and also has advantages such as high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, making it a "universal protective garment" for multiple substrates.

Its "compatibility" with substrates is extremely strong. Whether it is a smooth metal surface, a transparent glass material or different types of plastics, after coating, it can firmly adhere to them with Grade 0 adhesion (cross-cut test), without peeling or falling off. For example, coating it on metal pipes can provide corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance; coating it on glass can offer scratch resistance and easy cleaning; coating it on plastic parts can enhance wear resistance and anti-aging properties. There is no need to select separate coatings for different substrates, which is time-saving and efficient.

Furthermore, its application and curing methods can be flexibly adjusted according to the characteristics of different substrates. If plastic is not resistant to high temperatures, ultraviolet curing or low-temperature curing at 80°C with a catalyst can be selected to avoid damaging the substrate; if metal requires high-temperature protection, high-temperature curing can be chosen, and its ceramization property can be used to further enhance the protective effect; if glass requires high light transmittance, its visible light transmittance of >95% can perfectly meet this demand, and coating it will not affect the transparency of the glass.

Its core performance is "consistent"—no matter which substrate it is coated on, after curing, it has a hardness of 6H and strong scratch resistance; it resists oxidation and corrosion, and can protect the substrate from external environmental erosion; it is hydrophobic and easy to clean, making daily maintenance convenient; it has excellent high-temperature resistance and can withstand temperatures ranging from 600°C to 1600°C in different scenarios, adapting to various usage environments.

Whether it is glass furniture and metal utensils in home scenarios, or alloy equipment and plastic parts in industrial scenarios, this "substrate-independent" coating can provide high-quality protection, offering a unified solution for the coating needs of objects made of multiple materials.
