Choosing coatings for items made of different materials—such as metal, glass, ceramics, and wood—often involves a lot of selection: some coatings won’t adhere to metal, some peel off when applied to glass, and others aren’t suitable for wood. However, the IOTA ST4 High-Temperature Resistant Water-Based Nano-Ceramic Coating is perfectly compatible with multiple substrates, acting as an "all-round protective layer" for metal, glass, ceramics, and wood.

It has extremely strong "compatibility" with substrates. Whether applied to smooth metal surfaces, transparent glass, hard ceramics, or warm wood, it adheres firmly, with adhesion reaching level 0 (per the cross-cut test standard). It won’t peel or flake due to use, cleaning, or environmental changes. For example, coating metal pipes with it prevents corrosion and rust; coating glass tabletops resists scratches and oil adhesion; coating ceramic tableware avoids chips from impacts; and coating wooden furniture provides moisture resistance, stain resistance, and fire retardancy. It serves multiple purposes and eliminates the trouble of selecting different coatings.

As a water-based coating, its eco-friendliness is consistent throughout. Using pure water as the solvent, it contains no harmful components like alcohols or esters. There is no pungent odor during construction, and it does not release toxic gases such as formaldehyde or benzene—protecting the health of both construction workers and users. It is safe for both indoor and outdoor use.

In terms of performance, it is "fully capable". With an ultra-high hardness of 9H (per the Chinese pencil hardness standard), it is hard to leave scratches from daily use, effectively protecting the base material from damage. It has excellent acid and alkali resistance, making it suitable for use in areas prone to contact with corrosive substances, such as kitchens and bathrooms. It also delivers outstanding stain, oil, and graffiti resistance—stains can be cleaned with a simple wipe. Additionally, it can withstand temperatures up to 900℃, and when applied to wood, it can function as a fire-retardant coating, maximizing safety performance.

Construction and curing are also very convenient. First, sand the base material to clean it and remove grease and dust, then apply the coating via brushing, pouring, spin-coating, or rolling. It dries to the touch in 30 minutes under natural conditions and fully cures in 7 days. If there’s a tight construction schedule, heating at 150℃ for 3 hours can bring its hardness to 9H, allowing it to be put into use quickly. Moreover, when the dry film thickness is controlled below 10 microns, the coating delivers optimal performance—it provides protection while not affecting the original appearance and texture of the base material.

This water-based coating, with its multi-substrate compatibility and comprehensive performance, offers a unified solution for protecting items made of different materials, serving as an "all-round protective layer" for substrates like metal, glass, ceramics, and wood.
