In the cold winter of northern China, lubricants for mechanical components tend to solidify; in hot industrial workshops, insulating materials for electronic equipment may fail due to high temperatures. However, IOTA-201 Dimethyl Silicone Oil (Methyl Silicone Oil) can work stably in the extreme temperature range of -50°C to 200°C, becoming a "reliable partner" for various industries to cope with harsh environments.

It is a colorless and transparent polymer material with an extremely wide range of viscosity options, from a free-flowing liquid of 5cps to a thick semi-solid of 2 million cps, enabling precise matching of the needs of different scenarios. For example, if electronic equipment requires thin damping oil to buffer vibration, a low-viscosity model is selected; if mechanical components need thick lubricant to reduce wear, the high-viscosity version can come into play. Furthermore, its performance is exceptionally stable—whether it is in a low-temperature environment for a long time or exposed to high-temperature working conditions, it will not easily deteriorate, and its viscosity changes little, ensuring it always maintains good usability.

In addition to resistance to high and low temperatures, its other properties are also excellent. It has strong chemical stability and rarely reacts with acids and alkalis (except high-concentration strong acids and alkalis). When used in the chemical and food industries, it can avoid contaminating raw materials or products. Its electrical insulation is excellent, effectively insulating current. When used in electronic equipment such as transformers and instruments, it can prevent leakage accidents and ensure the safe operation of equipment. It has good hydrophobicity and can form a waterproof film on the surface of objects. For instance, when coated on textile fabrics, it prevents clothes from getting wet easily; when applied to leather products, it reduces moisture erosion. At the same time, it has low volatility—when heated at 150°C for 3 hours, the maximum volatility is only 3%—so it will not be easily lost during use, extending its service life.

In practical applications, it is widely used in various fields. In cosmetics, it makes the texture of face creams and shampoos smoother, bringing a silky touch to the skin and hair after application. During rubber and plastic production, as a release agent, it allows products to be quickly separated from molds while improving surface brightness. In the machinery and automotive industries, it is used as a lubricant and brake fluid, maintaining lubrication effects at high and low temperatures and reducing component loss. In pharmaceutical and food processing, it is a safe defoamer that eliminates excess foam during production. When added to architectural coatings, it improves the weather resistance of the coatings, making wall coatings more durable under wind, sun, and rain.

This dimethyl silicone oil, which can adapt to extreme temperatures and has comprehensive performance, is solving material problems for various industries under harsh working conditions with its strong environmental adaptability, becoming a "stable partner" in many production scenarios.
