In daily production, many doctor-bladed and dip-coated products face two major problems: first, they are prone to mold growth, which affects product lifespan and usage safety; second, they have poor adhesion, leading to easy peeling of the coating. However, IOTA M20-50W-0 mold-proof special addition-type silicone rubber can precisely solve these two pain points, becoming a "capable assistant" for such products.

In terms of basic properties, it is divided into two components: Component A and Component B. Component A is a transparent liquid with a viscosity of 1000 mPa·s at 23°C after stirring, similar to slightly thick syrup. The color of Component B can be adjusted according to needs, and it has a higher viscosity, reaching 65000 mPa·s at 23°C after stirring, like thick paste. During use, it is mixed in a weight ratio of Component A:Component B = 2:100. The mixed material has a viscosity of 60000 mPa·s, which can be easily doctor-bladed or dip-coated on the surface of the substrate without flowing due to being too thin, making construction very convenient.

One of its core advantages is "super strong mold-proof ability". It can effectively inhibit mold growth, keeping products clean for a long time. It is particularly suitable for scenarios with high mold-proof requirements, such as coated products in humid environments and protective products for daily use. At the same time, it has excellent adhesion to the substrate. After coating, it can firmly "grip" the substrate surface, rarely peeling or falling off, which greatly improves the durability of the product.

The performance after curing is even more reassuring. Its hardness ranges from Shore A 30 to 60, which not only has a certain flexibility but also maintains stable shape without easy deformation. The tensile strength is ≥4 MPa, meaning it can withstand large pulling forces without breaking. For example, it can work stably even when used on components that require slight stretching. The elongation rate is ≥200%, so even if pulled by external forces, it can be stretched without easy breakage. The tear strength is ≥10 kN/m, so it is not prone to cracks when encountering friction, collision, etc., significantly extending the service life.

Thanks to these advantages, it plays an important role in mold-proof special adhesives and various doctor-bladed and dip-coated products. For example, it can be used to make mold-proof sealants for sealing gaps in humid areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, which are both waterproof and mold-proof. It can be used to produce doctor-bladed protective coatings, which are applied to the surfaces of furniture and equipment to protect the substrate and prevent mold growth. It can also be used to make dip-coated products, forming a uniform protective film on the product surface, which is both mold-proof and durable.

This silicone rubber, which combines mold-proof, strong adhesion and high performance, undoubtedly provides a new solution for the upgrading of doctor-bladed and dip-coated products, enabling more products to achieve dual improvements in practicality and durability.
