In the field of high-end manufacturing, where quality and appearance are paramount, material selection often determines the final performance of a product. Recently, a high yellowing-resistant molding rubber has quickly gained popularity in the production of high-end key switches and seals, thanks to its strong yellowing resistance, high transparency, and easy processability. It has become a "secret weapon" for enterprises looking to enhance their product competitiveness.

For high-end products that need to maintain an attractive appearance over the long term, yellowing resistance is a core requirement. This high yellowing-resistant molding rubber effectively resists yellowing caused by environmental factors—such as light exposure, temperature changes during daily use, or oxidation from prolonged air contact—making it hard to lose its original color. Car interior key switches and seals for high-end electronic devices made from this rubber retain their transparent appearance even after years of use, avoiding the "worn-out" look caused by yellowing. This helps enterprises create high-end products that are more durable and textured.
High transparency gives this molding rubber an edge in appearance performance. Compared with ordinary molding rubbers, it has uniform light transmittance with no impurities or cloudiness, resulting in products with a crystal-clear visual effect. Take the touch-sensitive key switches of high-end home appliances as an example: when paired with this highly transparent molding rubber, the key switches not only have a smooth feel but also allow light to pass through more evenly and softly. This enhances the overall high-end feel of the product, meeting consumers’ pursuit of detailed aesthetics.
Excellent processability "reduces burden and boosts efficiency" in the production process. In actual production, this molding rubber has good fluidity, easily filling every tiny corner of the mold to accurately replicate the mold’s shape. This reduces the rejection rate caused by poor material molding. Moreover, it has stable curing conditions: following the standard process of "adding 1% of 50% DCP (dicumyl peroxide) and heating at 175°C under 15MPa pressure for 5 minutes" enables rapid molding. It is suitable for industrial mass production, helping enterprises shorten production cycles and lower manufacturing costs.
From typical data, products of different grades have their own advantages: IOTA HTV-7230 has an elongation rate of up to 700%, making it suitable for seals requiring high elasticity; IOTA HTV-7250 has a tear strength of 20 kN/m, offering excellent damage resistance and making it ideal for frequently used key switches; IOTA HTV-7280 has a hardness of Shore 80, providing high hardness and stability, suitable for products with strict structural strength requirements. This diverse range of options allows the molding rubber to adapt to production needs in different scenarios, providing more flexible and high-quality material solutions for high-end manufacturing.
