Annoying little issues at home like tablecloths sliding down, placemats shifting and spilling soup, or baby playmats not staying in place—all these are related to "anti-slip" problems. However, the IOTA M30-308 silicone rubber, a special coating for cotton anti-slip fabrics, not only adds an "anti-slip boost" to cotton but is also made of food-grade material, making daily use both safe and worry-free.
It adopts a two-component (A and B) design, offering great flexibility when combined. Component A is a transparent liquid with a viscosity of only 300 mPa·s after stirring at 23°C. It flows as easily as water, allowing for easy and uniform mixing with Component B. Component B is also transparent but has a slightly higher viscosity of 100,000 mPa·s. When mixed in a weight ratio of A:B = 2:100, the mixture reaches a viscosity of 90,000 mPa·s. This viscosity enables it to coat the cotton surface evenly without excessive penetration that would stiffen the fabric, thus preserving the original soft texture of the cotton.
The "food-grade" feature is one of its biggest highlights. It means that the coated cotton can directly come into contact with tableware and food. Even if a baby accidentally chews on the playmat, parents don’t have to worry about poisoning risks. It is especially suitable for making table anti-slip cloths, baby placemats, and anti-slip mats for baby food preparation tables. Moreover, it has excellent adhesion to cotton substrates. After coating, it firmly "grabs" the fabric fibers and won’t peel off due to washing or friction, maintaining a stable anti-slip effect even with repeated use.
The performance after curing is even more impressive. It has a hardness of Shore A 40, providing sufficient friction for anti-slip functionality without making the cotton stiff or uncomfortable to the touch—its texture remains soft and cozy. With a tensile strength of ≥7 MPa, the coating won’t break even when the anti-slip fabric is pulled hard, ensuring excellent durability. Its elongation rate is ≥300%, allowing the coating to stretch synchronously when the cotton deforms without cracking. The tear strength is ≥15 kN/m, so the coating is not easily damaged by daily friction or washing, significantly extending its service life.
In addition to making anti-slip cloths, it can also be used for other doctor-blade coating products, such as outdoor picnic mats and anti-slip coatings for yoga mats. If colorful designs are needed, simply add pigment to Component B, stir evenly, and then mix with Component A to create colorful anti-slip fabrics that combine practicality with aesthetics. However, it should be noted that this is a platinum-catalyzed product. During use, avoid catalyst poisoning, as it may affect the curing effect.
This silicone rubber, which integrates safety, anti-slip properties, and durability, transforms ordinary cotton fabric into an "anti-slip tool" and solves anti-slip problems in daily life.
