In the field of glass fiber and fabric coating, "slow vulcanization hindering production capacity, and poor adhesion leading to easy peeling" are common challenges faced by manufacturers. Recently, a glass fiber coating silicone specifically designed for coating processes has become a new choice in the industry, thanks to its core advantages of "fast vulcanization, high strength, and strong adhesion". It easily addresses production pain points, enabling simultaneous improvement in the quality and efficiency of coated products.
Its "fast vulcanization speed" directly targets the pain point of production efficiency. It can quickly cure and form under high-temperature conditions without long waiting times, significantly shortening the production cycle. Taking common coated products as an example, traditional materials may require dozens of minutes to cure, while the vulcanization time of this silicone can be flexibly adjusted according to thickness and temperature. Thin coatings can be quickly shaped at an appropriate temperature, increasing the turnover speed of the production line by more than 30% and helping enterprises respond to order demands more quickly.
Strong adhesion provides a guarantee for product durability. After coating, it can firmly adhere to the surface of glass fiber or fabric; even when subjected to external pulling or friction, delamination or peeling is unlikely to occur. For instance, when used in industrial glass fiber cloth coatings, the adhesive layer remains stably attached despite long-term exposure to mechanical vibration and environmental changes. This effectively extends the service life of products and reduces rework and replacement costs caused by coating peeling.
Its strength performance is also remarkable. The tensile strength of products with different grades can reach up to 8MPa, which means they can withstand relatively large tensile forces without breaking; the tear strength can reach up to 25KN/m, enabling them to resist damage even under daily wear and impact. For sponge-coated products, the coating will not crack even after repeated extrusion and deformation, always maintaining a complete structure to ensure the product functions properly.
In addition, it offers outstanding flexibility in use. It provides multiple A/B component mixing ratios such as 1:1 and 2:100, adapting to different production equipment and process requirements; moreover, after mixing, it has a 48-hour pot life at 25°C, so workers do not need to worry about material waste caused by rapid curing, and the operation error tolerance is higher. Currently, this silicone has been widely used in the coating of glass fiber, fabrics, and sponges, injecting new impetus into the production of related industries.
