Third, its transparency complements its adhesion. High-quality coatable silicones maintain a clear, transparent appearance after curing, preserving the original texture and color of the fabric while forming strong chemical bonds with the substrate, ensuring the coating does not easily peel off—achieving a unity of function and aesthetics.
In terms of application scenarios, beyond typical anti-slip mats, tablecloths, and bath mats, it also plays an important role in industrial settings. For example, it can be used to produce conveyor belting with a flexible, anti-slip surface, specialty packaging liners, or as a treatment coating for other fabrics requiring surface modification. In safety and protection, it can also enhance grip stability for gloves, tool covers, and similar products.
Finally, production convenience underpins its widespread adoption. Such products are typically supplied as two-component systems. By adjusting the curing agent ratio, the curing speed can be flexibly controlled within a certain range to suit different production line rhythms. Under moderate heating (around 80°C), thin coatings can cure in a short time, offering high efficiency with relatively controllable energy consumption.
