An addition-cured silicone rubber specially developed for high-strength fireproof cloth has recently attracted industry attention. With its high strength, high flame retardancy, and excellent construction performance, it provides key support for the upgrading of fire protection materials. Its balanced performance in performance indicators and practical characteristics meets the core needs of fireproof cloth production.
Precise Formula: Synergistic Performance of Two Components
The material adopts an A and B two-component design, both with a white appearance, facilitating production monitoring. The viscosity of component A is 100,000 mPa·s, and that of component B is 80,000 mPa·s. After mixing in a 1:1 weight ratio, a stable system is formed, with a post-mixing viscosity of 85,500 mPa·s. This formula design enables the material to have good fluidity during construction and can be quickly formed, adapting to various processing technologies.
Its unique thixotropic property ensures that the material shape is stable during construction, avoiding flowing waste, and improving material utilization and production efficiency.
Excellent Mechanical Properties: Enhancing Protection Reliability
The cured material has outstanding mechanical properties, with a hardness of 50 Shore A, having both certain rigidity and elasticity. The tensile strength of 5.5 MPa and elongation at break of 250% make the material not easy to break when subjected to external pulling; the tear strength of 16 KN/m further enhances the damage resistance of the product and reduces the risk of damage during use.
The strong adhesion to glass fiber cloth further ensures the structural stability of the fireproof cloth, allowing the finished product to maintain stable protection performance during long-term use and providing continuous and reliable guarantee for fire safety.
Storage and Use: Practical Characteristics Highlighted
The material has simple storage conditions. It can be stored for 12 months in an unopened state at a temperature below 23°C, and the best use date label on the outer packaging is convenient for management. Even if it exceeds the shelf life, it can still be used after passing the performance test, reflecting good economy. At present, this material has been widely used in the production of fireproof cloth and various scraping and dipping products, contributing to the quality improvement of protective materials.
