High-Performance Fire-Resistant Cloth Silicone Material: Building a New Barrier for Safety Protection

Hits: 818 img

In the field of fire protection, material performance directly determines the reliability of safety lines. A room-temperature vulcanizing silicone material specially developed for high-strength fire-resistant cloth, with its excellent performance, has become a core driving force to improve the quality of fire-resistant cloth, building a stronger safety barrier for various protection scenarios.

The most prominent advantage of this material lies in its "combination of rigidity and flexibility" in protective properties. The white protective layer formed after curing has moderate hardness—it neither becomes brittle like hard plastic nor loses support due to being too soft. Test data shows that it can withstand a tensile strength of 5.5MPa, equivalent to bearing 55 kilograms of pull per square centimeter, and maintains structural stability even in high-temperature environments. A 250% elongation rate endows it with excellent flexibility, allowing it to stretch with the deformation of the cloth and avoid cracking caused by excessive rigidity. Moreover, a tear strength of 16KN/m ensures it does not easily break in emergency situations.

For manufacturing enterprises, construction convenience directly affects production efficiency. This material possesses excellent "shaping wisdom"—thixotropy. During construction, it can be easily applied evenly on the surface of glass fiber cloth through scraping or dipping. When the operation stops, it quickly sets without flowing, significantly reducing material waste and rework costs. More importantly, it has extremely strong adhesion to glass fiber cloth. After curing, it bonds tightly with the cloth without delamination or peeling, improving product qualification rates from the source.

The usage operation is also convenient and efficient. The material adopts an A/B two-component design, which can be mixed in a 1:1 weight ratio without complex measuring tools. After mixing, the viscosity remains stable, making it compatible with different coating equipment and ensuring production continuity. Storage conditions are also user-friendly: unopened, it can be stored for 12 months at temperatures below 23°C. The packaging label clearly marks the best use date, and even if it exceeds the shelf life, it can still be used after passing performance testing, providing flexibility for enterprise inventory management.

In addition to its core application in fire-resistant cloth, this material also performs excellently in products requiring scraping or dipping processes, such as industrial pipeline protection and equipment heat insulation sleeves. With stable flame retardancy and protective performance, it has become an ideal choice for safety upgrades in multiple fields.
