A room-temperature vulcanizing silicone material integrating high adhesion, high strength, and flame-retardant properties is becoming a core material choice for upgrading protective products with its multi-scenario adaptability. It not only provides reliable protection for fire-resistant cloth but also demonstrates excellent performance in various protection fields.
Super adhesion is the prominent advantage of this material. When coated on glass fiber cloth, it can penetrate deep into every fiber gap, forming a tightly bonded protective layer after curing, like putting an "invisible armor" on the substrate. Even after repeated bending, friction, or long-term use, it does not delaminate or fall off, solving the pain point of traditional coatings being prone to failure and ensuring long-term stable protective performance. This reliable adhesion makes it particularly outstanding in scenarios requiring long-term protection.
The balanced design of flame retardancy and mechanical properties expands the material’s application range. As a special adhesive for fire-resistant cloth, it itself has good fire resistance, forming a double protective barrier when combined with glass fiber cloth. After curing, a tensile strength of 5.5MPa and a tear strength of 16KN/m allow protective products to withstand external impact; a 250% elongation rate endows them with good flexibility to adapt to the needs of different scenarios. A hardness of Shore A 50 ensures structural stability while avoiding brittleness due to excessive hardness.
The detailed design during use is also user-friendly. The material uses a platinum catalytic system, with the catalyst concentrated in Component A. During use, attention should be paid to avoiding contact with impurities that may affect performance; if color adjustment is needed, colorants should be added to Component B and stirred evenly first, then mixed with Component A in a 1:1 ratio to ensure stable performance. Both Components A and B are white, and the mixed and cured product remains white, suitable for scenarios with basic color requirements.
Storage conditions are lenient: unopened, it can be stored for 12 months at temperatures below 23°C, and the packaging label clearly marks the best use date. In addition to its core application in fire-resistant cloth, this material also excels in other protective products requiring scraping or dipping processes, such as industrial protective layers and equipment heat insulation sleeves. Its comprehensive performance effectively expands the application scenarios of protective products, providing support for safety protection in more fields.
