The "Quick-Install Expert" for Clothing Labels! This Liquid Silicone Rubber Completes Vulcanization in 18 Seconds

When applying labels to clothing, have you ever faced issues like slow adhesive flow, difficult bubble removal, or long vulcanization times? Now, a two-component addition-cure liquid silicone rubber (IOTA-1XXXA/B Series), specifically designed for clothing labels, has arrived. With its three core advantages of "speed, smoothness, and stability," it easily solves the pain points in clothing label production.

In terms of appearance, it is a translucent gel-like substance—clean and clear. Whether used for solid-color labels or subsequent coloring, it maintains an attractive texture. Its key performance parameters are also highly "user-friendly": the three models (1054A/B, 1035A/B, 1123A/B) have different viscosities for Component A, ranging from 50,000 to 150,000 mPa·s. The lower-viscosity variants flow more smoothly, making them suitable for labels with complex patterns; the slightly higher-viscosity ones offer more stable molding, ideal for simple-style labels. Component B has a uniform viscosity of 1,500 mPa·s, enabling quick blending when mixed with Component A. The specific gravity of all variants is approximately 1.075–1.08 g/cm³, matching the density of common fabrics—when attached to clothing, it does not add a heavy or bulky feel.

Its "core skill" lies in its ultra-fast vulcanization speed. For regular labels, vulcanization and shaping can be completed in just 18 seconds under 180°C—equivalent to the time it takes to take a sip of water. This significantly shortens production time. Additionally, it has excellent fluidity: when poured into molds, it automatically fills every detail of the pattern, even rendering tiny letters and designs clearly. It also allows for easy defoaming—light treatment after mixing eliminates bubbles, preventing small pits from forming on the label surface. More notably, it has a high yellowing resistance rating; even with long-term use, it will not turn yellow or discolor, keeping clothing labels looking brand-new. It also accepts coloring easily: vibrant reds, calm blacks, or fresh blues—all colors adhere evenly, meeting the needs of different clothing styles.

In practical use, operation is straightforward: mix Component A and Component B at a ratio of 10:1 (1,000g of Component A to 100g of Component B). For colored labels, first add color paste to Component A, stir evenly with a disperser, then add Component B, mix thoroughly, and degas before use. Its physical performance is also highly reliable: after vulcanization, the hardness ranges from 40–52 Shore A—neither too hard to irritate the skin nor too soft to deform easily. The minimum tensile strength reaches 4.2 MPa, so it won’t break even when pulled forcefully. The elongation rate is up to 320%, allowing it to rebound quickly after bending or folding—no need to worry about label cracking during wear. The linear shrinkage rate is uniformly around 2.1%, ensuring precise sizing after molding and avoiding "shrunken" finished products.

For packaging, Component A is available in two large sizes (20KG and 200KG), while Component B comes in small 1KG cans and large 20KG barrels—suitable for both small workshop trials and large-scale factory production. When stored in a cool, dry place at temperatures not exceeding 37°C, it has a shelf life of 12 months. For clothing enterprises, this liquid silicone rubber is undoubtedly an excellent tool to improve the efficiency and quality of label production.
