In the design and production of garment labels, color diversity and usage durability are two core requirements. The IOTA-1XXXA/B series liquid silicone rubber for garment labels, with its properties of easy coloring and durability, combined with a convenient operation method, helps garment labels achieve diverse presentations while ensuring long-term usage quality.
In terms of product properties, easy coloring is its notable advantage. As a translucent adhesive, it can perfectly blend with various color pastes—whether it is bright colors, calm dark colors, or soft light colors, all can be evenly attached, with high color saturation and good color reproduction. During production, you only need to add an appropriate amount of color paste to Adhesive A, stir it evenly with a disperser, and then add Adhesive B in proportion for mixing to obtain the adhesive of the desired color. No complex processes are required, which can meet the label color matching needs of different brands and different garment styles.
In terms of durability, the product performs excellently. The labels formed after vulcanization have outstanding anti-aging and anti-wear capabilities, with a high yellowing resistance grade. They are not easy to yellow or discolor when exposed to air and light for a long time, and even after multiple washes, their color and shape can remain stable. In terms of physical properties, the hardness ranges from 40 to 52 Shore A—this not only ensures the stiffness of the label but also provides a soft hand feel, without causing discomfort when attached to garments. The tensile strength is ≥4.2MPa and the elongation is ≥200%, endowing the label with good elasticity and toughness; pulling or bending during daily wearing will not cause it to break or deform. The tear strength is ≥18KN/m, which effectively resists damage caused by friction and hooking, extending the service life of the label.
Operational convenience also provides convenience for production. The product adopts a two-component (A/B) design, with a fixed usage ratio of 10:1—no complex conversion is needed, and even beginners can easily master it. The mixing process is simple: Adhesive B has low viscosity (1500mpa.s) and can be easily mixed with Adhesive A of different viscosities (50000-150000mpa.s), reducing mixing time and labor costs. The vulcanization speed is fast: ordinary labels can be shaped in 18 seconds at 180℃; for thick or large-sized labels, the temperature and time can be flexibly adjusted, no long waiting is required, which improves production efficiency. In addition, the product is easy to defoam—after mixing, bubbles can be eliminated through simple operations, avoiding defects caused by residual bubbles on the label surface and ensuring the appearance of finished products.
In terms of packaging and storage, Adhesive A is available in two specifications: 20KG and 200KG; Adhesive B is matched with 1KG small cans and 20KG large barrels. Enterprises can flexibly choose according to their production scale to avoid waste. For storage, it only needs to be sealed and placed in a cool and dry place, with the ambient temperature not exceeding 37℃—the shelf life can reach 12 months, which is convenient for enterprises to stock up on demand and ensure stable production. During use, it should be noted that the adhesive should be avoided from contacting compounds containing elements such as N, S, P, and Sn to prevent affecting the vulcanization effect; at the same time, the mixed adhesive should be used in a timely manner to avoid over-time curing.
