​Say Goodbye to Frequent Re-Coating! This "Liquid Magic" Enables Longer-Lasting Material Protection

In industrial production and the maintenance of daily necessities, material protection has always been a troublesome issue. Either the coating peels off easily, or the protective effect is not long-lasting—frequent re-coating is both time-consuming and labor-intensive. However, an organopolysilazane product named IOTA 9150 is changing this situation with its unique performance.  

In terms of appearance, IOTA 9150 is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with a light texture. Its density ranges from 0.98-0.99g/cm³, which is not much different from that of water, so it feels not heavy at all when held. What’s more surprising is its low viscosity—only 10-40cp, as smooth as the cooking oil we use daily—making its application extremely flexible. Whether it’s smearing, dipping, spraying, or brushing, the operation is easy. It can perfectly adapt to metals, alloys, glass, paint films, and even common plastics like polypropylene and polycarbonate, truly achieving "one material for multiple uses".  

In terms of protective performance, IOTA 9150 excels even more. The coating formed after its curing has excellent hydrophobicity, with a contact angle of 100°-105°. Just like lotus leaves, water droplets on it will quickly condense and roll off, effectively preventing moisture from eroding the substrate. At the same time, the coating can resist the penetration of gases such as oxygen, forming a tight "protective cover" for the substrate, with full anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion capabilities. Additionally, the cured coating is non-flammable, providing great reassurance in terms of safety.  

In terms of hardness, it also demonstrates "strong capabilities". After 24 hours of natural curing at room temperature, its hardness can reach 7H—there’s no need to worry about daily scratches on surfaces coated with it. For thermal curing, baking it at 200-250℃ for 10-20 minutes and then leaving it at room temperature for 12 hours can still maintain a hardness of 4H-5H, meeting the usage needs of different scenarios. More importantly, its linear shrinkage rate during curing is less than 1%, which can maintain the original appearance of the substrate to the greatest extent without coating cracking caused by shrinkage, ensuring extremely high stability.  

Whether used as a coating to protect metal equipment, an adhesive to bond various materials, or a component to make flame-retardant composite materials, IOTA 9150 can perform excellently, bringing a brand-new solution to material protection.
