Different coating products have vastly different demands for material hardness and mixing ratios: some require soft coatings, while others pursue high-strength shaping; some production lines are compatible with a 1:1 mixing ratio, and others need special ratios. Recently, the launch of a multi-grade fiberglass-coated silicone, leveraging the advantages of "adjustable hardness and multiple optional mixing ratios", easily caters to diverse production needs and has become a "versatile fit" for manufacturers.

Wide Hardness Range: A Key Highlight

Its wide hardness coverage is a major highlight. It offers multiple hardness specifications ranging from 26 Shore A to 52 Shore A – from the relatively soft 26 Shore A to the stiffer 52 Shore A – which can accurately match the characteristics of different products. For example, when manufacturing flexible fiberglass protective sleeves, the soft 26 Shore A grade can be selected to ensure high fit and good hand feel during use; when producing high-strength fiberglass structural parts, the high-hardness 52 Shore A grade can be used to provide sufficient support and prevent deformation.

Multi-Ratio Design: Enhancing Production Compatibility

The multi-ratio design further improves production compatibility. It not only has the common 1:1 mixing ratio (suitable for general coating equipment) but also a special 2:100 ratio (meeting specific high-precision production needs). Regardless of whether the manufacturer’s existing equipment is a conventional metering and mixing type or a dedicated device compatible with special ratios, a suitable application solution can be found – no need for additional equipment replacement, thus reducing upgrade costs.

Reliable Performance Stability

Its performance stability also stands the test. All grades of products have a stable density of 1.06-1.10 g/cm³, and after coating, the thickness is uniform without local over-thickness or under-thickness; the elongation rate is up to 450%, which can flexibly adapt to slight deformations and prevent coating cracking. For instance, when used for fabric coating to make outdoor protective cloth, the coating remains intact even after exposure to wind, rain, and temperature changes, without affecting the protective effect.

Thoughtful Operational Details

It also considers operational details thoroughly. The Component A and Component B are filtered and degassed before leaving the factory, reducing bubble formation during mixing; the uncured material can be cleaned with common hydrocarbon solvents, lowering the difficulty of equipment maintenance. The emergence of this silicone eliminates the need for manufacturers to frequently replace materials for different products, truly achieving "one material, multi-scenario adaptation".
